 Jordon Smith

Jordon has laser-like focus when it comes to her career and her clients. Fresh from college, she ventured into advertising at one of the top 10 ad agencies. There she worked on some of the largest brands in the world - Sony Pictures Entertainment, Nestlé, Boeing, Silicon Graphics and Microsoft.

Her focal point has been getting her clients' brands and products into the eyes and ears of their audiences through strategic and innovative media placements. She doesn't just settle with executing a plan, but instead analyzes the data in depth to pin-point areas of improvement and optimization.

At McCann Erickson, she planned, negotiated and bought network TV, spot TV, print, outdoor, direct mail, and online media for her clients. Two and half years later she joined Zentropy Partners, where she planned, negotiated and bought online media for Microsoft, while also managing the account relationship.

This management and exposure to full spectrum advertising and marketing has led to a perfect fit with MSA Communications' approach to integrated marketing.

Jordon's focus extends to her life as well, where she is an extremely good softball player, knows every sports fact imaginable, shops with the best of them and has just picked up running in pursuit of doing her first 10K.

 Julia Lurtz

Julia is extremely well versed in all aspects of contemporary marketing and advertising. Her background truly reflects the term -- integrated marketing -- the oft discussed and oft misunderstood buzzword of business today.

She started out as a public relations account manager where she worked with such clients as the California Dept of Forestry and Save the Wildlife Fund. Her work on CADFY generated 100% more media coverage than any promotion in the previous ten years.

A year later she joined NIKE where she developed and directed strategic advertising, event and marketing plans for the 75 NIKE-owned Factory Stores and NIKETOWNS. While dealing with two ad agencies, and a marketing agency (on a very limited budget) she was integral in making the retail division the #2 profit center in all of NIKE, Inc.

In 1999 she joined marchFIRST as an Account and Resource Director. There she directed strategic development for multiple dotcoms - with total budgets of $38 million - such as eHome.com, Mercata.com and Ask Jeeves. Her work included web site development and design, online and offline advertising, direct mail and national media programs. Since that time, Julia has also managed the marketing and advertising needs for eBay, IUMA and Asimba.

Julia's background provides her with unique insight into big picture strategy improvements, as well as stronger methods of tactical execution. This range of innovative vision provides another layer to the talents at MSA Communications.

This "overachiever" takes multi-tasking to her personal life as well, where she pursues an active lifestyle playing volleyball, skiing, waterskiing, mountain biking, hiking, watching rugby and spending time with friends.

 Maggie Smith

Maggie brings strategic networking and brand solutions to the technology industry through her knowledge, experience, and years of negotiations.

Maggie honed her negotiation and people skills as a manager-agent for commercial and theatrical artists in the entertainment industry. These skills led to her engagement as a University guest lecturer on subjects such as Theories of Human Behavior, Negotiations and Conflict management.

In the mid 90's, her interest in the emerging field of Internet technology, brought her to a large developer training organization based in Southern California. During her years of tenure she built client relations, headed up branding efforts at industry shows and organized co-operative tours. Among her crowning achievements was the diverse body of strategic alliances she created with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Bea Systems and Compuware.

Her skills in planning, negotiating, marketing, managing and strategizing have resulted in measurable increased brand exposure for the individuals and companies she's worked with. These accomplishments have made her, and MSA Communications, sought after by the largest names in the industry.

Maggie's ambition, talent and passions are reflected in all her pursuits. She is a gourmet cook, a painter, and has traveled the world extensively. She loves to ski, play tennis and scuba dive.
